Check whether a page links to your site.

Paste the page that may contain your backlink and your domain. LinkScout reads that one public page and reports every matching link, its anchor text and relevant link attributes.

Check a backlink

One public source page is checked. No login, API or AI is used.

What a backlink status check tells you

A backlink check answers a specific question: does this source page currently link to your domain? It is useful after a guest post, partnership, mention or outreach campaign.

The result shows the target URL, readable anchor text and link-level rel attributes such as nofollow, sponsored and ugc. These attributes are signals for search engines, not a guarantee of a ranking outcome.

This is intentionally not a backlink database. It checks the live public page you enter, which keeps it free and makes it useful for verifying a link you already expect to exist.

Backlink status checker FAQ

Does this show every backlink to my website?

No. Enter a specific public page to verify a link from that page. Discovering all backlinks requires a dedicated web index, which this free tool does not use.

Why can a page not be checked?

The page may be private, unavailable, blocked by robots.txt, too slow to respond or not a valid public URL. The tool does not bypass those restrictions.

Does dofollow guarantee SEO value?

No. A missing restrictive rel value does not guarantee a ranking benefit. Relevance, quality and search-engine systems still matter.
